how to let upgrade smoothly ?
Hi,
i try to upgrade from 3.5 to 3.6, because i set nginx port is 80 and apache port is 8081, when i uninstall nginx, apache will not back to 8081 automatically, so,the http connection will be down and show with gateway error, how to let upgrade smoothly ? thank you |

RE: how to let upgrade smoothly ?
I have always done it that way. Uninstalled nginxcp and then reinstalled a newer version.
There is no real way to upgrade without experiencing some downtime. |

RE: how to let upgrade smoothly ?
uninstall/reinstall takes less then 2 minutes and don't cause any down time.

RE: how to let upgrade smoothly ?
Yes that's true however if you have a few users downloading large files they will be disconnected during that few mins period. It's not a significant issue that we have run into so far.
